Breaking news: As Ralf Ragnick pulls move to signing his dream left back ,and names his left back option between Shaw and Telles.


 

Alex Telles and Luke Shaw are battling it 

out at left-back for Manchester United. 

Finally, there is genuine rivalry between the two. 


Last season, Telles was signed under the 

pretext of competition, but it was never a fair 

competition. Under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Luke

 Shaw was always the first choice, and now Telles

 is getting his moment to prove what he 

can accomplish. 




Telles has been superb recently, making 

more tackles in the Premier League than 

Luke Shaw but playing seven less games. 


Before becoming Manchester United manager, 

Rangnick was known to criticize Luke Shaw. 


"They could do with a left-back," he said 

in a 2020 interview with Football Daily. "I 

know they have Luke Shaw, but I'm not sure 

if he's still on the same level you need for a 

club like Manchester United." 


This was before Telles and Shaw were 

signed by United.

  Man Utd have announced on their official   website that Ralf Rangnick will hold his first  press conference as Manchester United  interim manager on Friday morning. They stated: It was announced on Monday that the highly  respected German will take charge of the Reds  until the end of this season, before continuing  in a consultancy role for a further two years.   Manchester United have reportedly  enquired about signing Marseille midfielder  Boubacar Kamara during the current  winter transfer window. Kamara has entered  the final six months of his contract for  Les Olympiens and is therefore free  to negotiate a contract with other clubs  for the coming summer.
