Breaking news : Manchester United legends gave the board 5 reasons why Ronaldo should be Manchester United legend here is why ...
Cristiano Ronaldo has given a public indication
that he is not happy with things at Manchester
United as he sent a rallying cry to his Old
Trafford teammates.
Recent reports have suggested that the
United No.7 could seek a move away from
the club, although these have been rubbished
by his agent Jorge Mendes.
But in a message to his teammates, Ronaldo
has addressed the current situation at Old
Trafford amid the club's struggles this season.
It comes after club legend Rio Ferdinand
as suggested the United captaincy is changed
and Ralf Rangnick faces a big decision
surrounding the future of Ole Gunnar
Solskjaer's "captain in making".
Axel Tuanzebe has struggled for game time
since signing on loan for Aston Villa this
season, and the once-promising youngster's
career is at something of a crossroads.
Tuanzebe is now 24 years old and has struggled
to make the step-up from promising youngster
to first-team regular.
Ralf Rangnick is now facing a big decision
regarding Tuanzebe as he aims to reach
his true potential.
United legend Rio Ferdinand has questioned
whether Harry Maguire should be the club's
captain – and suggested who he would
put in the role.
Former United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer
named Maguire, 28, as his captain in January
2020 but he has recently been hit by poor form
and murmurs of unrest in the dressing room .
Ferdinand believes Maguire had the "massive
responsibility" of captaincy thrust upon
him too soon int his career at Old Trafford
and has suggested another player who has
been around for a little longer should wear
the armband.
Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo
has given his first public indication that he
is not entirely happy with the situation at
Old Trafford.
Ronaldo has been one of United's better performers
so far this season but the side has struggled
to convince and currently sit in seventh place
in the Premier league table.
The club's struggles have led to rumours of
discontent behind-the-scenes with some
reports suggesting Ronaldo may be looking
for an exit strategy out of Old Trafford.
And in a new years message shared by the
United no. 7, Ronaldo said 2021 was "far from
an easy year" and told his teammates to "
work harder, play better and deliver way
more than we are delivering right now".
