Breaking news: Ralf Ragnick and Manchester United board receive a blow as star man who played a big pay in yesterday’s game refuse to sign contract.
Contract talks between Bruno Fernandes
and Manchester United were put
on hold earlier this week, according to reports.
After being reported in July, they are
anticipated to restart at the end of the season.
Fernandes had two assists in United's
3-1 win against Brentford, and two
goals in the previous game against Aston
Villa, so it appears that his contract problem
isn't affecting his play.
Bruno is under contract until 2026,
which explains why both parties appear
to be patient in reaching an agreement.
The motivation for any new contract
appears to be to put Fernandes' pay
in line with that of the club's other top
earners, in order to reflect his commitment
to the team.
