Haaland have been boosted after Manchester

 United's interest in the striker was apparently

 cooled. 

The Blues had been connected with the

 Norwegian star for some time and appeared

 to be serious about signing him during the

 summer transfer window before eventually

 buying Romelu Lukaku, the club's record

 signing. 

His return to Stamford Bridge has not 

gone according to plan so far, with only

 eight goals in 23 games, and he has also
