 Chelsea have been handed a fresh boost 

in their transfer pursuit of Sevilla defender 

Jules Kounde at the conclusion of the season. 




According to football.london, the Blues 

were interested in signing the 23-year-old 

during the summer transfer window but were

 unable to agree on a deal with his current

 club, Sevilla. 


Marca recently reported that Chelsea are

 'convinced' that they can tempt Kounde 

away from the Seville-based club at the end

 of the season as the west Londoners look

 to bolster their defensive options. 


Furthermore, another Spanish news agency

, Mundo Deportivo, is saying that Sevilla

 are interested in signing Lazio defender

 Luiz Felipe, which would be a great 

boost for Chelsea. 


According to reports, the Spanish 

club is looking for fresh players.

  Man Utd have announced on their official   website that Ralf Rangnick will hold his first  press conference as Manchester United  interim manager on Friday morning. They stated: It was announced on Monday that the highly  respected German will take charge of the Reds  until the end of this season, before continuing  in a consultancy role for a further two years. The process of applying for a work permit  meant that Rangnick could not manage United  in tonight’s fixture against Arsenal at Old  Trafford, where Michael Carrick will continue  his role as interim.  We are delighted to confirm that Ralf’s  permit has now been approved and he  will be officially unveiled in front of the media  on Friday morning. Ralf will presumably look forward to his first  match in charge of United, against Crystal  Palace in the Premier League at 14:00 GMT  on Sunday.
