Breaking news: As Manchester United board sends a message to Ronaldo, after missing a decisive penalty, will be leaving ?
Cristiano Ronaldo has been warned that
he is "part of the problem" at Manchester
United, with the Red Devils failing to
improve since his arrival.
United's season reached a new low on
Friday, when they were knocked out of
the FA Cup by Middlesbrough in a penalty
shootout.
Before the hosts tumbled out of the
competition, the 37-year-old also squandered
some good chances to put the tie beyond
doubt, losing 8-7 in the shootout.
Carlton Cole, a former West Ham striker,
has told talkSPORT that Ronaldo is part
of the problem for United this season, as they
have failed to improve on their second-
place position last season.
"Who is genuinely leading by example in
that locker room?" Cole remarked. "Yes,
Ronaldo does it, but it's not the only one."
