 Manchester United have asked players

 who want to leave the club to delay 

their decisions, as they want the next

 manager to decide if they are in his

 plans or not.

Several of Manchester United's stars

 are into the final months of their contracts

, such as Paul Pogba and Jesse 

Lingard , while the likes of Donny van

 de Beek and Anthony Martial will 

be returning after loan spells away.

According to ESPN, Manchester 

United are hoping that the new 

boss may convince some players to stay.

Paris Saint-Germain's Mauricio

 Pochettino has long been viewed 

as the favourite to replace interim 

manager Ralf Rangnick, whilst Ajax's

 Erik ten Hag is also being considered.

It's yet to be seen how Pogba will 

play under Rangnick, as he has been

 out with a hamstring injury he suffered

 back in November. Rangnick is said to 

be a big fan of Pogba, which may 

influence the Frenchman's decision

Martial and Van de Beek have temporarily

 joined Sevilla and Everton respectively

, having been out of favour at the club. 

Neither of their futures beyond the 

summer are clear.

Lingard was not allowed to leave
