Official: As former Manchester United coach Ole Gunnar Solksjaer gets his new coaching job , he is back to win in the football world again .

 Solskjaer resigned from Manchester United

 on Sunday after a meeting at the club, 

with the team's humiliating 4-1 loss to 

Watford serving as the final nail in his 

coffin after a terrible month of results. 

When he was selected as an interim manager

 to replace Jose Mourinho, and again when 

he was granted the post full time, the 48-

year-old was deemed unqualified for

 the position. 

He had previously only worked for 

Cardiff City, where he was responsible 

for their relegation from the Premier League

, and Molde, where he won two league titles. 

Both of those teams are being considered

 as potential next stops for the Norwegian, 

though Cardiff fans may recoil at the prospect

. However, the Norwegian national team 

is the favorite.
