Confirmed:Two Manchester United player tested Positive for COVID 19 and will miss burnley clash tomorrow,wish then quick recovery .

 Telles was absent from United's FA 

Cup defeat to Middlesbrough on Friday 

after testing positive before the game, 

while Fred reported to training on Monday

 only to be sent home. 



Left-back Telles should have recovered 

in time for Saturday's match against Southampton

, though Fred is now a huge doubt for that

 match due to the fact that he will need to 

isolate for at least the next five days. 


'The Brazilian couple have tested positive

 for Covid-19, requiring them to isolate 

in accordance with Government protocols

,' United confirmed. 


Apart from Mason Greenwood, who remains

 suspended following his arrest, Rangnick

 revealed the bad news on Monday, leaving

 Telles and Fred the only absentees he 

has to cope with.

  Man Utd have announced on their official   website that Ralf Rangnick will hold his first  press conference as Manchester United  interim manager on Friday morning. They stated: It was announced on Monday that the highly  respected German will take charge of the Reds  until the end of this season, before continuing  in a consultancy role for a further two years. The process of applying for a work permit  meant that Rangnick could not manage United  in tonight’s fixture against Arsenal at Old  Trafford, where Michael Carrick will continue  his role as interim.  We are delighted to confirm that Ralf’s  permit has now been approved and he  will be officially unveiled in front of the media  on Friday morning. Ralf will presumably look forward to his first  match in charge of United, against Crystal  Palace in the Premier League at 14:00 GMT  on Sunday.
